Dr. Asmahan Al-Taher and Ms. Lata Gullapalli from Britain signed a joint cooperation agreement with Mr. Emad Al-Shehab, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Broccoli for Development and Capacity Building, to begin work on implementing the program project.
The DEI program is considered the professional mentoring program for 2025 and is the first of its kind in Jordan to support strong advocacy for gender balance. This program has been designed to:
✔️ Help women and youth develop more skills and abilities as potential leaders. ✔️ Develop a work model that supports the Sustainable Development Goals. ✔️ Spread a culture of diversity and gender equality before they graduate and start working.
Proper implementation of the program will change a lot in the Jordanian labor market.
The new program in empowering women and youth has been professionally designed to address the various challenges facing young people of both genders, including the challenges women face in leadership positions, and the role of all influential forces in this.
