Program Overview

The “Jobs Without Borders” project is an initiative designed to address unemployment among talented Jordanian youth by tapping into opportunities in the digital economy and cross-border employment. The project aims to bridge the skills gap by equipping young men and women with the necessary tools to thrive in the global job market. It includes a comprehensive training program focused on developing participants’ personal, technical, and linguistic skills, enhancing their competitiveness in fields such as translation, content creation, graphic design, social media management, and creative writing.

The project is funded by Broccoli Development & Capacity Building with a total value of 50,000 Jordanian dinars.

Objectives

  1. Building Capacities: Empowering 125 young men and women through a training program focused on freelancing skills.
  2. Developing Skills: Enhancing participants’ personal, technical, and linguistic skills to increase their competitiveness in the international job market.
  3. Increasing Employment Opportunities: Expanding cross-border employment opportunities for Jordanian youth in various fields.

Participation Criteria and Conditions

Age between 18 and 30 years.

Residency in Jordan.

Interest in freelancing or cross-border employment.

Commitment to attending all phases of the training.

Willingness to develop personal, technical, and linguistic skills.

Project Phases

Training on Personal Skills (60 hours):

This phase includes developing communication skills, time management, teamwork, and leadership.

Training on English Language Skills (30 hours):

The focus is on improving practical English language skills to assist in freelancing and international employment platforms.

Training on Technical Skills (90 hours):

Participants will be divided into five specializations: translation, content creation, graphic design, social media management, and creative writing. Each specialization will accommodate 25 participants.
