Broccoli Selected for Prestigious Tabadol Program to Drive Organizational Sustainability

BEIRUT, 14 October 2025 – The Tabadol program, a strategic initiative by the Asfari Foundation in partnership with makesense, has selected the community-based organization Broccoli for Development and Capacity Building (None Profit) to participate in its 2025 fellowship cohort. Broccoli will collaborate with a social entrepreneur to enhance its long-term sustainability and impact.

The Tabadol program strengthens Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and CBOs in Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, and Syria by connecting them with social entrepreneurs to co-create sustainable, innovative solutions. The program focuses on key thematic areas including Active Citizenship, Good Governance, Feminism & Gender, Education, and Tech & Innovation.

As a selected CBO, Broccoli will enter an intensive 8-month fellowship, pairing with a skilled social entrepreneur to develop a tailored project. This collaboration aims to improve Broccoli’s operational, programmatic, and environmental sustainability, ensuring it can continue to drive transformational change in its community. The program provides participants with customized coaching and financial support, including grant opportunities for CBOs.

“We are honored to be chosen by the Tabadol program,” said a spokesperson for Broccoli. “This fellowship represents a powerful opportunity for us to integrate innovative frameworks and tools directly into our operations. We look forward to collaborating with a social entrepreneur to build a more resilient and effective organization, ultimately allowing us to deepen our impact and serve our community more sustainably.”

The Tabadol program is designed to encourage the use of innovation within established organizations by promoting collaboration with agile social entrepreneurs, who in turn gain valuable knowledge and experience.
