Amman – Thursday, October 16, 2025 – The Broccoli Foundation for Development and Capacity Building (Not for Profit) launched the Youth Observatory project, supported by the King Abdullah II Fund for Development through the “Tamkeen” window for supporting political projects, with the participation of 50 male and female youth from various Jordanian universities.

The project aims to launch an electronic platform titled “The Youth Observatory for Partisan Work” to enhance youth participation in partisan work and to highlight youth-oriented programs presented by political parties.
The CEO, Mr. Emad Shihab, delivered welcoming and guiding remarks, explaining the project’s importance in promoting youth participation in political life and aligning with the vision of political modernization.
The inaugural session was implemented, focusing on the Jordanian Parties Law and youth, presented by Dr. Baker Al-Shbilat. It is noteworthy that the training program includes a series of workshops on laws governing political and partisan work, skills for political monitoring, scientific research implementation, and report writing.

Participants expressed their appreciation for this initiative and its significance due to its qualitative components, which will contribute to enriching the political experience of youth and equipping them with tools for effective political participation.
On May 31, 2025, the formal partnership agreement was executed between Broccoli and the King Abdullah II Fund for Development. The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr. Abed Fattah Al Kayed, General Manager of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development; Mr. Emad Shehab, CEO of Broccoli; and Mr. Saed Tuffaha, Vice President of Innovations and Ventures Growth at the Broccoli Foundation.
